Ministerial Staff
Don Rogers, Pastor
Don began as pastor at Buechel Park in 2000, after serving two churches in North Carolina. His educational journey includes graduating from Furman Univesity (BA,1980), Southern Baptist Theological Seminary (Master of Divinity, 1984) and Baptist Theological Seminary at Richmond (Doctor of Ministry, 2007). He has completed four units of Clinical Pastoral Education. Don currently serves on the Kentucky Baptist Fellowship Coordinating Council, as Moderator in 2010-2011. He is married to Debbie, a school teacher in Jefferson County Public Schools, and they have four grown children. Don enjoys reading, playing the guitar and piddling aroundthe yard and house.

Jon Self, Minister to Youth
Jon joined the Buechel Park Baptist staff in December 2010. Previously he served in various vocational ministry positions such as pastor and associate pastor in Arkansas and as an international missionary in Southeast Asia. Jon graduated from Williams Baptist College with a BA in Christian Ministries and from Southwestern Baptist Seminary in Fort Worth, TX with a Master of Arts in Church History. Jon, his wife Maggie, and son Ryan live in Pewee Valley, Louisville. He enjoys tennis, spending time with Ryan, and torturing—I mean working with youth.

Brittany Krebs, Minister of Music
Brittany joined the Buechel Park Baptist staff in June 2010. Previously she taught middle school choir at Irondale Middle School and was the Children’s Choir Director at Baptist Church of the Covenant in Birmingham, AL. Brittany graduated from Samford University in 2008 with a Bachelor of Music Education degree with an Honor in Vocal Performance. Brittany is currently pursuing her Master of Divinity degree at Baptist Seminary of Kentucky. Brittany and her husband Kyle live in Georgetown, KY. Brittany enjoys reading, cuddling with her cat, Larkin, watching baseball, spending time with her family, and of course music!

Andrew Noe, Minister to Children and Families
Andrew joined the Buechel Park Baptist staff in August 2010. Previously he served for 5 summers for Passport camps in a variety of ministry positions. Andrew graduated from Georgetown College in 2008 with a major in Religion and a minor in Communication. He is currently pursuing his Master of Divinity degree at Baptist Seminary of Kentucky. Andrew lives in Lexington, KY and enjoys playing basketball, watching movies, anything to do with superheroes, and eating way too much at church potlucks.

Doris Gohde, Church Secretary
Doris joined the Buechel Park Baptist staff in June, 1969. Previously she served as secretary at St. Matthew’s Baptist and Shawnee Baptist in Louisville, KY. Doris enjoys reading, cooking, and watching basketball. Go Cards!

Judy Witt, Financial Secretary
Judy joined the Buechel Park Baptist staff in January, 2009. Previously she provided administrative support to the office staff at Buechel Park. Judy enjoys her Sunday School class activities, the choir, and her family, including her granddaughters Hannah and Lillian.

Howard Aubrey, Facilities Manager
Howard joined the Buechel Park Baptist staff in June, 1994. Previously he was custodian at St. Matthews Baptist Church in Louisville. Howard enjoys taking care of my people at Buechel Park.

Brenda McDade, pianist
Brenda joined the Buechel Park staff in February 2010. Previously, she was the pianist at Midlane Park Baptist Church. Brenda started taking piano lessons when she was 7. She studied piano as a Music Major at the University of Kentucky for 2 1/2 years. She enjoys spending time with her son Tommy and two young grandsons. Brenda works full time as a receptionist at a Debt Restructuring Firm in downtown Louisville.
Kevin Vest, organist
Kevin joined the Buechel Park staff summer 2007. Kevin has been playing the organ in churches since 1990 serving at Emmanuel Baptist Church in Jefferson City, TN; West Hills Baptist Church, Knoxville, TN; and St. Matthew's Baptist Church, Louisville, KY. Kevin graduated from Carson-Newman College with a B.A. Religion and Psychology. He studied organ all four years of college under noted organist and composer, Mary Charlotte Ball. Kevin has two children, Matthew (age 9) and Michaela (age 5).
Parents' Day Out Program
Nicole Davis, Program Director
Nicole began working at Parents Day Out in May, 2000. She became the Program Director in 2004. Nicole attended Spaulding University and Jefferson Community College. Nicole loves taking care of kids.
