Senior Nutrition
Buechel Park one of the many sites for the Senior Nutrition Program, a part of the Louisville Metro Community Action Partnership. This site is open Monday-Friday from 9:00 am – 1:00 pm. Volunteers with Meals on Wheels prepare and deliver hot lunches daily to the homebound. For more information, visit here.
Forever Young Fitness
The Forever Young Fitness and exercise program is led by Shirley Brown. This moderate exercise class is for people from all walks of life. This exercise class features form dancing, foam balls, light weights, elastic bands, chair dancing, parachutes, and walking. 60-70 people from all over the Buechel Park community meet on Mondays and Wednesdays from 10:00-10:45 am. The gym opens at 9:00 am for walkers. This class is free to the public, though a $1 donation is suggested for defray operation costs.

Winter Classes begin January 3rd. If holidays are observed on a Monday, Wednesday's classes will also be cancelled. If the weather is "iffy" please call one of us before you venture out.
